Mission Statement

CFA believes that the well being of the sport depends on a broad appreciation of the game, excellence in coaching, an emphasis on safety and health, high levels of youth participation and collaborations with the many partner organizations involved in youth football and cheerleading. We will promote this through fun, family and fundamentals.

Divisions: 

All ages are based on the participants age as of October 1st of the current year:

Anklebiters - Ages 5 & 6 (Flag)

Mighty Mites - Ages 7 & 8 (Tackle)

Midgets - Ages 9 & 10 (Tackle)

Bandits - Ages 11 thru 13 (Tackle)

Cheerleading - Ages 5 thru 13

History: 

In 2004, Mark Settle and Tim Morris created Culpeper Football Association (CFA) to provide a recreational football and cheerleading league that will foster in our area youth the qualities of sportsmanship, team play, and integrity. CFA has grown from 250 participants in 2004 to over 700 in 2010, making CFA one of the largest youth football leagues in the state of Virginia.
